Bachelor of Environmental Engineering
The Environmental Engineering Study Program of Hasanuddin University was established on February 9, 2009, based on the Decree issued by the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education No. 166/D/T/2009. Based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, the Environmental Engineering Study Program organizes education for undergraduate level (S1-bachelor). The Environmental Engineering Study Program began accepting new students in the 2009/2010 academic year. The Environmental Engineering Study Program was declared accredited with a B rating, Decree of BAN PT Depdiknas No. 162/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-SURV/S/VIII/2013.
In 2018, PS-S1-TL participated in the BAN-PT accreditation process. The Environmental Engineering Study Program was declared accredited with the Last Accreditation Rating (Value) of A according to the decree of BAN-PT No. 2085/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/VIII/2018 starting from August 1, 2018 to August 1, 2023. In the 2020/2021 academic year, the number of PS-S1-TL students is 297 students with a total of 16 lecturers.
In line with the implementation of the OBE-based curriculum at PS-S1-TL, in 2020 it participated in the international accreditation of the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE). This year, the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program obtained an international accreditation certificate from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) with certificate number No. 00077.A. This international accreditation is valid from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2024.
Furthermore, in 2022, the BAN-PT Accreditation Certificate based on BAN-PT Decree No. 2210/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/S/IV/2022, states that the Environmental Engineering Study Program, at the Hasanuddin University Undergraduate Program, Gowa Regency, meets the ranking requirements: Excellent Accreditation. The Study Program accreditation certificate is valid from April 5, 2022 – August 1, 2023. In 2023, the international accreditation certificate from IABEE was successfully converted to UNGGUL Accreditation by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Engineering Study Programs (LAMTEK), with certificate number No. 0019/SK/LAM Teknik/PYT/II/2023, with a validity period starting from February 24, 2023 – March 31, 2024. Currently, the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Study Program has successfully maintained its UNGGUL accreditation from LAMTEK with SK number 0623/SK/LAM Teknik/AS/XII/2024 which is valid from December 21, 2024 to December 20, 2029.
